EveryDay Math Unit 1...

At the beginning of the school year, when students have been away from concentrated math experiences for the summer, they might not recall all they have learned in the past. Therefore, before they are introduced to new material, students will retrieve past learnings through brief reminders and reviews. To that end, Unit 1 suggests a number of review activities for math that students encountered in first grade. These have provided them with a snapshot of their math background and capabilities as they start the new school year. In addition, Unit 1 also establishes routines meant to be used all year long to promote an active and cooperative learning environment. ❤️🔢
