We celebrated our first second grade student birthday on Friday with many special "Surprise & Delights" throughout the day to honor the birthday boy in our classroom. One special activity is that the birthday student gets to choose three students to enjoy lunch in our classroom along with me too! As we walked to our classroom with our lunches, this birthday boy proudly shared aloud, "this is the best birthday ever!" It sure made me proud to know my "Surprise & Delight" made his birthday even more special! Thank you to our birthday boy who brought pretzels, yogurt and sliced apples for everyone to enjoy for his special birthday treats!
