In Unit 2 Social Studies:  Our Earth the main ideas that we will learn about are: geography is the study of Earth and the ways people use it; each kind of shape on the surface of the Earth is a landform; a producer is someone who makes or grows something; a consumer is someone who buys and uses goods; a natural resource is a useful material that comes from the Earth and conservation is the care and protection of land, water, plants and animals.
