These instructions were attached to your child's tie dye t-shirt baggie they brought home in a grocery bag yesterday.
Let the shirt sit for 4-24 hours (no later than 2pm today, Saturday, September 23) to allow dye to set. DO NOT LET SIT FOR MORE THAN 24 HOURS, OR THE SHIRT MAY MOLD.
•Carefully remove rubber bands with scissors.
•Rinse shirt thoroughly under running water, cold at first to set the dye, then warm, until water is mostly clear. (Do this carefully as the dye may bleed.)
•Wash with detergent before wearing. Wash shirt ALONE as the dye may bleed to other laundry items and ruin them.
I can't wait to see everyone's tie dye t-shirts! Stay tuned for special days/events that we'll wear our new school wide tie dye shirts!
