This year your child will learn about sounds, letters, and words. There are many ways you can help your child learn to read. Each week in class we will read many passages. I will send these home for you to re-read together at home at the end of the week. Please listen to and help your child read the passages to you. I will also send home some fun activities and games for your family to enjoy together that we've used each week in class as well. I look forward to a fun year of learning together! Thank you in advance for the important part you play in helping your child learn to read.
